Treasurer
We do not have anyone in this role at the moment, and it matters. If you have a head for figures — professionally or just naturally — please talk to us. You would be working alongside an established finance team, not on your own.
More hands needed
Sunday refreshments
Tea and coffee after the service is where most of the actual conversation happens. We need a few more people on the rota to make and serve it. It is genuinely one of the most useful jobs in the building.
Teachers and helpers wanted
Sunday School teachers & helpers
Working with the children's groups on a Sunday morning. You do not need to be a teacher — helpers are just as valuable. DBS checks are arranged and paid for by the church.
Opportunities available
Life Group leaders
Hosting a group of eight or ten people in your home once a fortnight, sharing food and working through the Bible together. Training and ongoing support come with it.
Not seeing yourself in any of those? There is nearly always something — the debt centre, the wellbeing café, the English classes, the Boys’ Brigade and the Eco Church team all take volunteers. Contact the church office for more information about any area of involvement.

Safeguarding
Everyone working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is DBS-checked, and the church has a designated Safeguarding Officer. Checks are arranged and paid for by the church, and we will walk you through the process.
